Quzhou “Hand-In-Hand” with GRENTECH to Build A Smart City

On August 6, Tang Feifan, Deputy Mayor of Quzhou Municipal Government, and Wang Haihua, Vice President of GRENTECH and GM of GREN SMART, signed “Smart Quzhou” Joint Construction Strategic Cooperation Agreement, which marked the beginning of joint construction of “mart Quzhou” between Quzhou Municipal Government and GRENTECH. Present at the signing ceremony were Mayor Du Shiyuan, Fu Genyou (Member of Municipal Standing Committee, Cluster District Party Committee Secretary), relevant departmental principals of Quzhou Municipal Government, President of GRENTEH Gao Yingjie, Vice President of GRENTEH Liu Qingchang, and so on.

With the rapid development of Internet today, urban construction will certainly keep pace with it, so that cities can become smart enough with smarter urban governance and service platform. GRENTECH is a communications and information technology group with mobile communications and smart city as the main business. Quzhou Municipal Government keeps up with the times and makes joint efforts with GRENTECH in building the current and future “Smart Quzhou” and making the plan of pushing the building of “Smart Quzhou” from smart city top-level design, information resource integration, government governance and application, urban management application and smart livelihood service. Besides, market-based investment and PPP pattern will be used to attract social capital into the building of “Smart Quzhou”, so as to drive the implementation of the “Smart Quzhou” project.

While building a smart Quzhou, GRENTECH will endeavor to create “Internet+” service for the benefit of people, so as to support the construction of Quzhou in terms of smart economy, smart government administration and smart life, and make breakthroughs in building a smart Quzhou with the help of hand-held device; by integrating life service functions of all kinds, we will achieve one-stop urban life service hall, make high-quality resources for the convenience of people go wider for more people, and provide common people with the opportunity to enjoy convenient and efficient service without leaving home.
